Daily Report Honors Justin King with a Professional Excellence Award as one of Top 30 Lawyers Under 40

ATLANTA, April 5, 2017 — Partner Justin King is being honored by The Daily Report as one of 30 lawyers who is “On the Rise.” King is a partner in the Atlanta office and a member of King & Spalding’s Corporate Practice Group.

The recognition, which is part of the publication’s annual Professional Excellence awards,  distinguishes lawyers under the age of 40 who have wielded influence in their practice areas in Georgia and beyond.  Lawyers are selected for being innovators, developing unique practice niches, amassing robust books of business, demonstrating strong leadership qualities and showing expertise in litigation.

King’s practice includes representation of public and private companies and private equity funds in a variety of corporate matters, including M&A transactions, leveraged buyout transactions, joint ventures, tender offers, takeover defense, strategic investments, going private transactions, corporate governance matters, venture capital transactions and general corporate and securities. Some of his most high-profile transactions in 2016 include the successful representation of the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee in its effort to convince owners of the NFL’s franchises to host the 2019 Super Bowl.
