NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2017 – King & Spalding was named amongst the leading 20 law firm brands in the U.S., according to the annual survey of senior in-house counsel conducted by Acritas Research.
King & Spalding rose two places in the Acritas 2017 U.S. Law Firm Brand Index, moving from 22nd to 20th position and breaking into the Acritas’ top 20 U.S. law firm brand list for the first time since the survey launched in 2012. The entire index comprises more than 660 law firms.
Acritas U.S. Law Firm Brand Index measures the brand strength of law firms across six metrics: top of mind awareness, favorability, consideration for top-level deals and litigation, overall usage among U.S.-based clients and inbound usage among international clients. The survey is based on data collected from an independent telephone survey of 765 senior in-house counsel from around the world across a range of industries; 604 of those surveyed were at U.S.-based organizations.
