Join us for breakfast and a lively discussion of the "top 10" most common Code Section 409A issues that we see in our practice. This program will be example-based and will provide practical advice on how to identify 409A issues and how to structure compensation so that it complies with, or is exempt from, 409A. Topics to be covered include: (1) how to address 409A issues in connection with equity compensation, (2) how to comply with the short-term deferral and severance pay exemptions to 409A, (3) how to structure deferral elections under 409A and (4) how to designate proper 409A payment events.

This program will be of interest to in-house human resources teams, corporate counsel, and other corporate officers who are involved in the drafting and/or administration of benefit and bonus plans and severance and employment agreements.
